বাবাদের শার্ট গুলো বেশির ভাগ সময় মা-দের শাড়ি থেকে দামী হয় না।বাবাদের ওয়ারড্রব ভর্তি প্যান্ট-শার্ট থাকে না, বাবাদের জুতা চলে বছরের পর বছর, মোবাইল বা ঘড়ি যতই বৃদ্ধ হোক না কেন, একেবারে অচল না হলে বদলান না। একা খেতে হলে সবচেয়ে সস্তা হোটেল খোঁজে, একা কোথাও্র গেলে বাসে চড়ে। রোদ বৃষ্টি মাথায় নিয়ে সঞ্চয় করেন।অথচ স্ত্রী সন্তানকে সবচেয়ে দামী জিনিসগুলো কিনে দেয়। বাবারা একান্ত বাধ্য না হলে কখনো না বলে না।নিজের জন্য সবচেয়ে কৃপণ বাবাটা, তার স্ত্রী সন্তানের জন্য সবচেয়ে বেশি বেহিসাবী।
