Biggest Fat-Loss Industry Lies 25-07-2017 *Part 1*

It has been 9 months since my last post here in Steemit! And for the last month or so, I feel left out of this great community. That is why I'm back with a post, that may actually be very informative for some people!

I will try to least at least some lies/myths of fat-loss that big industries make for YOU to purchase their products.

1# Using vibrating/heating/compressing belts and pants will help you aid fat-loss.

  • This probably is the lie that has spread all over the world to mostly older people. And it's sad, because most of these ads and companies that advertise these products, don't even know any science behind the products.
    Reason why this does not work like they advertise to do, is very simple.
    Most of them provide info how your going to lose weight. Mostly: breaking fat, sweating.
    One of them is true. Sweating can aid weight loss, BUT NOT FAT-LOSS. Sweat is water with toxins. Meaning you will only lose water weight, that you will regain next time when you drink. As for breaking fat cells. That is just plain stupid, it does not work like that. Fat cells don't break physically and they also do not disappear in anyway. They just shrink.
    So people please.. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE PRODUCTS.

2# Using certain exercises or supplements/tools will help you burn fat in certain body-parts.

  • Also.. it's impossible. Fat burning does not work in that way. When being in calorie deficit/burning fat the body will deduct even amount of fat from whole body. So any exercises or machines that promote that they will aid more fat burn in certain parts, is lieing.

3# Drinking so called fatburning tee's or using (almost) any supplement that say's that it will burn fat can help.

  • There is only 1 way of losing fat. YES.. Only one. And it's being in calorie deficit. Calories = energy. Fat = energy (stored). To lose fat, you have to in-take less calories then you use in a day. There is no other way. Just that you can leverage how much calories you can in-take by exercising and eating the right foods.

It's hard to explain everything in details without making this post too long. If this post will get some attention, I will be making another part where I will write more about everyday things that people do that are lies.

Welcome back! So many lies around fat burning and staying thin. I guess that happens with anything profitable though. People will believe anything as long as they want it to be true or fear it might be true.

Thanks! What you said is very true, most of the people that believe these things, want it to be like that. In reality most of them are to ignorant to actually learn the science behind these products.

Of course there are some fat-loss tablets, can actually work. By using different somewhat natral things that make you feel more full after eating. Meaning you won't want to eat that much. And by doing that, it's easier to stay in calorie deficit. But more about that in Part 2 :D

That is very true, there are appetite suppressants. Coffee has always been my go-to, although I've found that can lead to excessive calorie deficiency. Just yesterday I found myself getting a headache and feeling weak. When I actually thought back on my day I realized I hadn't eaten nearly enough. Worse, it was mostly empty calories from chinese food :P
