Thanksgiving Fast
Yes, you read it right. I'm doing a Thanksgiving fast rather than a Thanksgiving feast. It's the perfect day to fast, to remind yourself that you're still alive. If you already have plenty of things to be thankful for, then a bit of hunger is nothing. In this era of abundance, we don't need to stuff our faces with food to feel thankful for what we have. In fact, fasting keeps your mind sharp and allow you to be thankful for being more clear minded than everyone else on this day. It's the perfect day to get after it.
When you fast for Thanksgiving, you have no regrets. No worrying about having to lose weight the next week or regretting wasted time due to drowsiness or dealing with relatives who you don't like. You simply stay sharp and get work done as if it's any other day. Time is saved. Money is saved. Discipline is tested. Risks of cancer and diabetes are down. I am thankful for my health, the savings, and the discipline. Feeling hungry is infinitely preferable to feeling stuffed and sluggish.
Today is the day for victorious workouts. Today is the day to get shredded. Veni, vidi, vici.
Great idea 😎 👍 🙊
