Ripped Jeans... Hot or not?

You have probably seen all your shops packed with this very style. Every model has been seen wearing them however, is it really worth the hype? But most importantly is it comfortable?

Many of our favourite fashion icons have been rocking the new summer trend. They come in all different shapes and colours. For example a soon to be princess is enjoying her day with her subtle ripped jeans.

To full-on holes. Here's the thing: ripped jeans are hardly considered dressy, yet Gigi managed to make them look chic.

This is all very good; however, we know that models can wear a bin bag and still look amazing so I tried them out myself. One of my main questions was: is it comfortable? in my mind having holes in the thing that's meant to give you warmth sounds bizarre. There was only one thing left to do - try wearing them myself.
Here is what I found out and I have a big tip. Don’t pair them with other distressed items. Since the denim style already lends streetwear edge to any outfit, adding in other worn-in pieces can make the look read as sloppy instead of cool. Instead, stick to pieces like a blazer and turtleneck for a polished outfit, a voluminous top and ankle boots for something on trend, or a simple T-shirt and leather moto jacket to achieve a model-off-duty look.

overall I think they were surprisingly comfy and the level that the jeans are distressed is your choice from a sublte rip to holes it depends on the day.
