Things in our life only happens at once specially the memorable one. And in high school, one of the most unforgettable moments happens in prom. It is the time wherein our classmates whom we see everyday with their stressful face because of academic requirements and projects transformed into a beautiful and handsome people. It  is the time where you can feel glamorous and beautiful. Not only that it is for the feeling of beauty but also it is a social event where you can meet a lot of people, bond with your friends and talk to your teachers about silly stuffs.

We, especially girls, want of course to be stunning in that special day.  And that is carried through the gowns or attire that we wear plus the make up. 

So, here is my tips in picking the right dress for prom.

1.  Know your budget.

You need to set a budget. You have to know what price range you can afford. There are a lot of dresses or gowns that are cheap if you are just persistent in finding that boutique. But, I tell you, if you are just going to focus on famous boutiques without checking the small ones, then you might be paying alot even if you can just save money.

2. Know your body shape.

If you don't know your body shape and you just kept on fitting gowns and end up it doesn't suit you, you are wasting your time. The designs and structure of gowns depends on your body shape. There are different kinds of body shape that you need to identify of which you belong.

1. Apple Shape- these are people whose upper body is bigger than their lower body. if you have this kind of body, you need to pic gowns that will show most or highlight your upper body. I think, it would be better if the gowns are balloon type or something that is long. So that the lower part would be bigger than the upper part.

 

2. Pear Shape- these is the vise versa of apple shape. The lower part is bigger than the lower body. I prefer long gowns for these kind of people so that people wont notice the lower part.

 

3. Rectangle Shape- This are body shapes that lacks curves. You need to pick a gown that will give you more curves. For example, ball gowns. Or the design should curve your body.

4. Hourglass Shape-If you have this kind of body, your lucky. The gowns would not be problem for you. you can wear anything because you don't need to hide. Gowns that i prefer for you would be fit gowns that will really show your curves.

 

3.  Find or create the best design.

Not only the type of gown that you need to consider here, you also need to know what design of gown you want. The design based on the type of gown will add more in your appearance.

4. Have plenty of time.

If you rush yourself in finding the right gown or dress for you, the beautiful ones would not be available anymore. You should not procrastinate in here.
