Vintage Meets Culture at Tamale Fashion Week

The City of Tamale witnessed the first ever fashion week event. The first of its kind event to be held in the Tamale Metropolis was put together by Rayaz Agency with support from numerous other organizations in the fashion and media space.

The two day event dubbed "Vintage meets Culture" attracted in excess of twenty established and up and coming fashion designers whose creations were rocked by professional models on the runway.

The colourful event was highly anticipated due to the buzz of media attention it attracted and the fact that many were eager to see how the organizers would put it together. Not so typical of events in Tamale the fashion event started on time on both days. Organizers prepared the venue before the advertised time and but for a slight delay while waiting for the numbers to increase, one would have ranked the fashion event 100% for efficiency. Still it is an improvement, an attitude if adopted going forward would be great for the increasingly growing night life industry in Tamale.
Musical performances from some great Talents including singer Erd and rapper Saani made the show lively.
