Is what you are wearing too revealing?

Many of us are so familiar with this scenario : Can you still remember, as a teenager, stepping out the door in a rush to hang out with friends or maybe go somewhere and then hearing your mother’s voice, stopping you dead on your tracks “Stop right there, young lady! Are you seriously thinking of going out wearing that?” Then we would resentfully change outfits. Some of us grew in that environment where you are trimmed to wear clothes that are not 'showy' OR too revealing
But with what is obtainable now, Ì tell you that most parents, if they were to be alive, would drop dead with the kinds of skimpy things ladies wear around. Well call me old fashioned lady if you like but I think we should rethink our attires. Are you wondering why the cases of rape and sexual harassment is on the increase? People would misread who you are based on what you’re wearing. How would you narrow the gap between the image you’re trying to project and what others perceive of you ?
