The Christmas Fashion Look

One of my favorite things about Christmas is the glittery party dresses, shiny sequins, the beautiful Christmas colors, big bows, great food, happy friends and family and seeing the white fluffy snow outside while I sip hot chocolate by the fireplace.

I am a self-taught technical designer. That means, I design, cut and stitch clothing - from a creative mind straight into the fabric, no sketching.

Here is what I was up to this past Christmas:

This was my very first attempt at making a circle skirt with a bodice - I call it the circle skirt dress.

After dressing my mannequin in my circle skirt dress and taking it to a Christmas market, I started taking orders for more circle skirt dresses. The ladies just love it!

I call this one the circle skirt dress with "Steeming" elegance!

I just love how the little scraps of left over fabric can be turned into something so beautiful for the little one.
