THE BENEFIT OF CULTIVATING MEDICINAL PLANTS IN OUR HOME
SOURCE
Hello friends, in this opportunity I am going to talk about medicinal plants and how beneficial it can be for our health. Many of the plants we know can have medicinal properties and generate a large number of components. Throughout life it is natural that, sometimes, you have certain conditions and, although it is always advisable to go to the specialist to be sure of what is happening, it is also important to clarify that drugs are not always required as a palliative . Medicinal plants are proven that, with their same properties, they can prove to be very beneficial for health.
The medicinal property with which our plant has, can have many other uses, but in our garden these plants play an important role because the amount of natural essences and chemical compounds they have, not only to grow it helps us in our health but also repel the "plagues", which can be found in the plant or soil of our garden.
SOME OF THE PLANTS THAT IN ADDITION TO HAVING MEDICINAL PROPERTIES GENERATE BENEFITS TO OUR ORCHARD:
EPAZOTE is a perennial that grows up to one meter in height. The epazote is used for stomach discomforts such as diarrhea, vomiting, inflammation of the stomach, lack of appetite and intestinal parasites (worms) of both humans and animals, in some parts it is used for menstrual discomforts. In our garden it helps us to repel some insects that could cause damage like aphids that can affect plants and seeds. In addition to these uses, the epazote is used as a condiment for many traditional stews and appetizers (esquites, sauces, etc.) since it has a pleasant flavor and aroma.
HORSETAIL. Diuretics is highly recommended when what is being sought is to cleanse the body and leave it free of toxins and impurities that have accumulated over the years.
CANNABIS can delay Alzheimer's disease or the progression of cancer cells. It also serves as an analgesic and some people use it to cope with depression or anxiety. And these are just some of the properties you have. As a plant, its benefits are clear and it is up to each one to know how and for what to use it.
MEJORANA is a perennial shrub that grows up to half a meter in height, is covered by white villi giving it a whitish appearance. The marjoram is similar to oregano. The marjoram is used mainly as a digestive remedy as it helps in stomach pains, gastritis, heartburn and spasms. In our garden the marjoram helps us to repel some insects by the natural essence of the plant, because for some insects it is not pleasant and we can also use it to make biopreparations that help us to diminish the presence of some plague present in our garden. And if that were not enough, it is also widely used as a condiment for meats, stews and soups for its pleasant flavor and aroma.
THE ASTRÁGALO. Stimulants, ideal when you go through very tired moments or you want to face fatigue.
THE CUMRCUMA OR THE VERBENA. This benefit takes place because these plants have a double action in such a way that they alleviate the ailment and, at the same time, eliminate the root problem. In this case, we refer both to inflammations that may take place within the organism and to the external ones.
IN CONCLUSION
But, in general terms, who else who has least used the plants as a palliative to treat some other disorder, discomfort or illness. It is very common for everyone to know something similar to the 'grandma's pharmacy' those remedies that have been passed down from generation to generation, based on plants and that, many of them, have been proven to work effectively and, that same, they are still useful.
