FARMS: METHOD OF SOIL CONSERVATION

Today i will be discussingnabout soil conservation.


What is soil conservation?
Soil conservation is the preventing of soil loss from erosion or reduced fertility caused by over usage, acidification, salinization or other physical and chemical soil contamination.
Soil conservation is also the way and manner in preserving the soil from erosion. Soil consevation help to keep the aoil fertile by preserving the nutrient needed to grow plants.
Soil coservation is the process of preventing or reducing of soil erosion and soil depletion by protective measures against water and wind damage.

Soil conservation is the collective efforts of groups of individuals or people that comes together to improve the quality of the soil and minimize erosion and other negative events.
The soil is very essenciql for growth of plants. When the soil loses its nutrient, therer will be poor growth.

IMPORTANCE/USES OF SOIL CONSERVATION.
Soil conservation is impotant in so many ways. Some of the few are

1. Agrculture: in agriculture sooil is used to grow crops and also serrves as food for animals.
2. Soil fertility
3. Soil microbiology
4. Soil organic matter
5. Provision of source of minerals tomcrops.
6. Aoil is used in making utensils
7. Soil a source of medicine.
8. Soil helps to keep the atmosphere cool.
9. Soil support germination
10. Soil help to decay waste.

7. Conservation Tillage
   All these listed fee can help prevent soil erosion and help conserve the soil.
   Concept. Soil Conservation is a combination of practices used to protect the soil from degradation.
   
   Soil is very necessary for the growth of agricultural crops. Soil ranges from different types like the sandy soil, loamy soil, and the clay soil. Soil is the hard part of the earth, taht plant can grow on.
   In Nigeria, based on the nature of our land because we are blessed with a wonderful kind of soil that fasten the growth of agriculture in the country. We as farmers, we need to develop the metheod of soil conservation in. Orher for the nutrient to be preserved in the soil.
