Arrival of the Shaddock
According to Wikipedia, pomelo ( citrus maxima) also known as Shaddock is native to South and South East Asia.
These days, it is widely cultivated around the world.
We have been trying to get our hands on it for some time now in order to bud on our farm.
Fortunately today, we were able to get both the fruit and budding wood.
Since budding will be faster to get fruits than planting of its seeds, we decided to settle for budding.
I will be showing how to do the budding process in my next post. Do stay tuned.
Questions and observations are welcomed
Just like grape, it is beautiful to behold
Yes it is, so attractive and rare
