Calves 8.5 Months Old

Thought I would give a glimpse of the two calves I got back in March. They will be nine months old middle of August. I plan to keep them, probably, until late September, early October as long as I am able to keep an economical food source coming.

I have been able to feed them mostly with grass silage from my own lawn and the clippings of a friend who runs a lawn service. I've supplemented that with alfalfa hay when necessary.
