Seeds and more seeds
I chose some new seeds to start off here in the garden, Lima beans of a couple of varieties, peas and beans, as well as some large tomato varieties. I will have some heavy pruning to do on these, so that they put forth a lot of fruit and less leaves. Last year we had a bumper crop of tomatoes at the very end of the season, because I didn't prune the bushes.
Based on feedback from some fellow Homesteaders, here in PNW, I am trying these neat varieties of tomatoes I wouldn't have before. I am sure hoping my experience with them will be similar to my fellows.
These will start going into seed starting mix very soon, with lots of sweet peppers as well!!
Nice selection of seeds for this year's garden!!
Good luck with your harvest and I'll be watching for updates!
Thank You!! I am very excited to start these!! I have a lot planned, including a large variety of cucumbers, and beans. Also a ton of zucchini! Hopefully it will be delicious here, in 7 more months. <3
I was looking through some of your older posts... homemade items!
I'd love to see some new ones like that from you! They are GREAT!
But I can't UPvote them... no one would earn from them.
Any plans to do some new ones?
As I make some new things, I will post them. This time of the year is focused on cleaning out and inventory, and selling off the bulk of things from last year. I do have lots of plans in the works for lovely new things, and will post them as I go!! I have a cut to do of a rose soap, shortly. :)
