25:01:2020 UFF Sports State of the Union

Hey everyone! I want to get you all up to speed on what’s going on in the UFF Sports world.

January 17 – We launched our first-ever worldwide fantasy sports franchise auction, offering 31 pro hockey teams that will play in the UFF Sports elite league, Ultimate Fantasy Hockey League (UFHL). Of the 31 teams up for grabs, 16 sold. The highest bid was $400 USD for the franchise with Connor McDavid attached. Current team owners are from eastern and western Canada, Finland, and the United States. 15 teams are still available for sale, direct from UFF Sports, starting at $200 USD for a franchise and a full roster.

If all 15 franchises are not sold by Aug 01, 2020, a second franchise auction will occur. This is the first of many more leagues that will be hashed onto our blockchain.

January 19 - We held the first ever UFF player draft where the 31 pro UFHL franchises filled their rosters with today’s elite players.

January 24 - Right now our team is working hard with our new owners to develop team names, logos and colours. We have some fantastic brands that have been summited to the UFF team. They will certainly impress our new fans and we can’t wait to purchase UFF Sports merchandise to show our support.

Here are some of the first submissions, feed back is always welcome, good and bad!

What’s in the works for the next 6 months? Here is a quick roadmap. As with any new tech project, things change and evolve as new innovations are brought to the table but here is our plan.

Score coin launch: The Score Coin (SCO) is the utility token that will be used in-game to complete transactions all around the world, instantly. The official token launch will be April 01, 2020. From now until that date, we will be running various Score token airdrop programs. Keep an eye on our Twitter and Telegram channels to find out how to score some for free. Details of the SCO economics will be available at UFFSports.com and also on the Discord and Telegram announcement pages.

Scouting: March 15th, 2020 will be an important day in fantasy sports history, as the concept of scouting will be introduced to the masses. An auction of all hockey players not currently owned by a UFHL owner, will be up for auction. The top 300 prospects will be entered into this inaugural scout auction. People that have registered as scouts at UFFSports.com will have the chance to purchase an elite prospect and retain ownership of the digital asset until they wish to sell or trade them.

These assets can be:

1. Traded or sold to other scouts at any time.
2. Sold to franchise owners when that player makes pro.
3. Hold your player in your wallet. As the UFF Sports ecosystem expands, semi-pro and junior leagues will be added. As these leagues are added there will be many ways to use your sports asset in live game-play.
4. As our ecosystem evolves and grows new innovative ways to use your digital player on our platform will be introduced.

The concept of scouting really changes fantasy sports play and we are very excited to be the first to bring the patent-pending concept to the fantasy sports world. Scouting enables more people to be part of the fantasy sports world, as you don’t need to play every night. You simply need an eye for young talent. Platform: the development team is working diligently to add small improvements to our beta platform. Additions such as cleaning up the player trading and buying process and setting up the conferences and divisions on the standings page.

Also, the 31 teams are being built and sent out to the owners. This is a bit of a process but I know our guys will make it as painless as possible
The platform is also being readied for the introduction of the next UFF Sports league, CFL.

UFHL playoff draft: Once the NHL regular season is complete, a very unique playoff format is triggered. To set up the UFHL playoff format, a few things need to happen. First, we select the 16 teams that qualify for the playoffs, exactly the same way the NHL does it. With division winners and wildcard teams qualifying accordingly.
This is where it gets cool. Because our teams are Fantasy teams, some of the owners' players will be participating in the live show, and some will be sitting out. So, the 16 UFHL fantasy play-off bound teams will have the chance to draft players from the bottom 15 UFHL franchises. This would happen in a draft where the team with the most regular season points picks first and so on, down the line.
These players, once picked, are leased to the playoff team for playoff play. If you lease a player to a playoff team and that team has success in the playoffs, you will earn a portion of that team's score coin earnings.

Canadian Football League Launch: The date has yet to be announced, but spring of 2020 will be the launch of our first football league. The CFL is a semi-pro league with teams exclusively in Canada. We chose this league next as it is a small, 9-team league that has very passionate fans. We feel this is a small step that we can take to learn how football works in the UFF ecosystem ensuring that we are prepared when we launch the power-house that is the NFL onto the UFF Sports platform!

These are a few of the hottest developments on the horizon and there is so much more to come.
