Hello everrybunny, so Since I have not been online as much as I like, I have been to some awesome tings.
One of those, was the second Annual Fantasy Fayre here in South Africa!

I know right? So weird that a place like South Africa can actually hold things like Fantasy Fayre, and people actually get dressed up and go to these events.

Brilliant new step for all the alternative side here in South Africa.

I am so proud, actually of the growing acceptance that is formed here in South Africa, of the weirder kind of people. Not weird per se, wrong wording. The more artsy kind of humans we have here.

Yes, I am artsy and thus it was not even a yes or no kind of thing for me, it was just a OMG WHEN ARE WE GOING??

I love old period kind of dress-up. I love dress up in no particular order.

So anyway, I decided to walk around and just get the feel of this event for you guys. Nothing too big or fancy, but so cute!

I think it is amazing, to take your younglings to such an event, because they learn much more than just play fighting. They are dunked into a world of wonder, and they know that it is okay to be a little more crazy than the normality of human society in this day and age where so many things get shunned for not adhering to the society that we perceive as being correct and socially acceptable to the point of not only killing the artist or adventurer inside of each and everyone of our younglings but also showing them that it is okay to shun the non believers.

ANYWAY, rant time over, here is a pretty picture of the event of the day, a cute little dragon caught in the light of the ending day. I thought it was adorable.

And the info booth was decorated so prettily, and most of the people at this event was dressed to the dot with their period clothes and mostly fantasy wear,

AND THERE WAS PEOPLE DOING SOME ARCHERY. Obviously I did not compete, for I cannot shoot anything with a bow and arrow, yes this is a weakness of me. lols

and obviously people who played some music.....

And then the end of the day slowly came upon us, and we packed up and left, with only the memory to entertain us for the rest of the year.

Hopefully I will be present next year again, this was so much fun.
