omg - well that about tells it all. Look forward to what you see in that group. Sounds just like the "establishment" doesn't it a knife for a gift as a welcome gift? That is bizarre, except it goes with the grain of how the system baits people.
you should check it out, I looked again earlier and clicked on a post about gun control, but nobody suggested the slightest as to hidden reasons why it was happening. 11k + members. If I remember then ill dig a bit deeper :)
I hate jumping on Facebook, but I do have a group there and belong to several where I like to drop "truth" links and promote Steemit. The real hard thing is that each time I visit FB I have to literally shut down and reboot. Their site is the ONLY one that does that to me. It takes up so much of my system CPU I guess because of all their marketing crap and spyware. BUT it sounds like this group you've found needs some education :)

I think many people in the UK are joining up because my mum has been waiting 10 days for confirmation email, but in norway it took average 5 days for people who i invited here indicating more human traffic :)
Oh I will get there! That does sound like good news about your mum having to wait, it must mean there are busy times ahead and it is all hand confirmed so makes me believe it is because of the plethora of folks coming on board. Steemit blockchain is the only way to go. I love it!
@movingman I went to the TM group and didn't join but checked out a bit at their website. They may be a good group actually to spread the news to about the unforeseen abductors that stalk their very neighborhoods.
