Freedom For Birth
I know that this subject has been discussed already and was so beautifully shared by @crosheille. But it is a subject that needs to be retold and shared. So many women today are not aware of their birth rights whilst others are forced to birth how the professionals see fit. Obstetrics is the wealthiest and largest funded health profession. It seems having babies especially in the western world is a money making business.
An amazing documentary called Freedom For Birth highlights all of this and so much more, even just watching the trailer gives so much information, but also introduces some amazing women and their wisdom.
I have such huge respect for women like Ágnes Geréb, who was arrested and send to prison for helping mothers have the birth they wanted. Women are sometimes forced by judges to have surgery to have their babies,instead of the normal delivery they desire and if they refuse they threaten to have the babies taken away by social services. Please watch this, share it and continue to educate ourselves on our human rights. Protecting our families and our humanity starts at birth.

Wow I can’t believe I’m just now seeing this. I’m so glad I did though. I will definitely be watching this! Thank you so much for continuing to spread awareness and helping people know they have the right to choose. It makes me so angry that instead of caring for the way a child is born the business side takes over. This huge business is taking away miraculous experiences between a mother and her baby. Just watching this 3 minute version gave me chills! I am so excited about things like this. Thank you so much for mentioning me, you are just so kind and supportive.
Thank you, this is such an important issue and the documentary is amazing. This really is something I will continue to bring awareness to, there are so many inspiring women out there and stories to tell, we've got to keep on sharing them.

I fully support your vision and it is so pity to see that in modern world the most sacred act of a childbirth turned to a business. However, I do believe that more and more women are getting conscious about it and choose to give birth to their children the way they want despite the doctor's advice. Thank you so much for spreading such a great and important message!

Wow thank you, I do feel very passionate about birth, it is so sacred. Women are becoming more aware and we need to help that along by continuing to talk about it and share our knowledge and stories. Love the beautiful picture you put up here, thanks for sharing.
So we have at least us two of us to start%)) I think it is just women era starting and more and more women are turning to their inner truth for guidance. I believe it will change all the world and as you stated it all starts from the birth of a child the right way.

Thank you for sharing, I will definitely be watching this documentary! I'm currently expecting our 3rd baby, but birth rights and education have been a natural interest for me for years. I have self taught myself everything I know about the birth process, the broken obstetrics system in America, common procedures etc...mainly because it's not common found knowledge (the "people in charge" like to keep women in the dark).
What is the most appalling is the amount of women I've met that have read or watched documentaries and know the facts of our broken system, know the risks involved in a typical American hospital birth, and STILL CHOOSE to put their full faith in their Dr. (who has a 50% C-section rate), because the sheer weight of actually taking control of their bodies is too much to bear. It truly breaks my heart.

I believe because of the limited options we have for pregnant mothers, they are not seeking widwives or doulas in America. I know in Texas there is more freedom so widwives or doulas are still available but you have to actively seek them out.
There are many reasons why I promote natural birth with widwives or natural childbirth at home to my patients. One is that they don't inject all the vaccines that are toxic to the newborns.
From my observation even with my cousins kids, I have seen a numerous outbreaks on eczema on newborns, which is the bodies defense mechanism to expel poison out of the body. I had to treat a few cases like this.
I have also noticed that newborns injected with vaccines have a slower development in intelligence (cognitive function) and physical growth.
I hear you, so many women are disempowered and have had so much fear instilled in them that they have no faith in their own bodies abilities. Thats why it's so important to keep talking and sharing our stories. My last child, my third who is 7 months now was born on the land, I had an unassisted birth which i felt comfortable with and was such an empowering experience. I see it as my responsibility to try and bring more awareness about birth, especially now having 3 girls on top of it. Thank you for so much for commenting and sharing.
