Protecting Our Children From Manipulative Reporting

The MSM has been reporting that there have been 22 school shootings already this year as of 5/23/18. Well this is very very misleading and so I thought we’d run through some of them and set the record straight. So often the mainstream media manipulates data, misquotes people, take words out of context, or just flat out lies. I cannot let this one stand.

They are trying to use this lie to take away such a fundamental right, I simply cannot stand by and be silent. The right to defend one’s self against intruders both domestic and foreign is a divine right given to us at birth. The Constitution does not give us these rights, it recognizes and secures them. And the powers that be cannot take them away from us. They can not respect them and violate them, but they cannot take them.

These rights are ours from birth to the grave, and as for myself, I intend to live by that statement as so many others do as well. If they want to put our children in “No Gun Zones” like sitting ducks then I will have to home school. Which honestly is probably better to do regardless, due to the Prussian system (public school) that John D. Rockeffeler financed in the U.S. stating " I don't want a nation of thinkers, I want a nation of workers."

Isn't it interesting how you do not normally see these shooters go to a police station to commit these atrocities. No, they go to schools, malls and other No Gun Zones.

If they are successful in taking our tools to defend ourselves in the form of fire arms, it is a slippery slope from there my friends. Next it will be knives then it will be bats, and so on. And once there is literally nothing for us to defend ourselves with, there will be nothing stopping them from violating every other right we are born with. These Universal Rights do not waver. They do not change. The degree to which our technology progresses does not shift them. They are constant, they are static.

I should add, a school shooting is defined as “a violent act in which someone, usually a student, uses a gun to kill or injure teachers, students and staff.” A fire arm being discharged at or near a school is no small matter. But when incidents like a child bruising another child with a BB gun are being slipped into the count of 22 “school shootings”, we can see there is clearly an agenda here.

Most people will not look far enough to find out the degrees of seriousness for each one. Most will just hear “22 school shootings this year and it’s only May!” Then they will hear the “experts” come in and tell us why we need to give up our right to defend ourselves against these tyrant-would-be’s.

The parameters set by CNN (who originally reported the 18 school shootings in 2018, and now 22) are as follows.

• A shooting that involved at least one person being shot (not including the shooter.

• A shooting that occurred on school grounds

• Grades K through College/University included

• Gang violence, fights and domestic violence included

• Accidental discharge of a fire arm are included, as long as the first two credentials are met.

The fact is that if CNN had only included shootings that involved actual guns on campus (not a BB gun like one case they’d cited in their article), and in which the gunman or victims were students, only 12 of the 22 cases would be applicable, according to the Washington Free Beacon. Of those, four ended with fatalities as the incidents were targeted attacks on a specific individual, or did not otherwise involve serious injury.

In 2018, three school shootings resulted in multiple deaths, and two were mass shootings resulting in more than four people’s deaths.

A study conducted by Northeastern University revealed that “Since 1996, there have been 16 multiple victim shootings in schools, or incidents involving 4 or more victims and at least 2 deaths by firearms, excluding the assailant,” Northeastern University informed on the research. “Of these, 8 are mass shootings, or incidents involving 4 or more deaths, excluding the assailant.” This study also revealed that school shootings are not any more common than they were in the 1990’s and in fact have become even safer.

Not only that, but shootings in general have seen a decrease in occurrence over the years. You would not think this at all if you were only watching CNN or any of the MSM stations.

And so here are the events that the MSM stations are calling school shootings.

1. Gloversville, New York. A student shot another student with a BB gun at Gloversville Middle School. No fatalities.

2. Seaside, California. A teacher accidentally discharged a gun at a public safety meeting at Seaside High School, injuring a class member. No fatalities.

3. Mobile, Alabama. After a shooting at an apartment on the campus of the University of South Alabama, one person was hospitalized. No fatalities.

4. Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Two people were shot to death in a dormitory on the campus of Central Michigan University. The police think this arose from a domestic issue. The victims were not students.

5. Itta Bena, Mississippi. Someone was shot at recreation center at Mississippi Valley State University. According to police, the victim was not a student and the injuries were non life threatening. No fatalities.

6. Philadelphia. A shooting occurred as a result of a fight at the Lincoln High School parking lot fatally wounding a 32 year old man.

7. Santa Fe, Texas. A student murdered 10 students and wounds 10 more at Santa Fe High School

8. Palmdale, California. A fourteen year old student fired a rifle at Highland High hitting another student in the shoulder. No fatalities.

9. Ocala, Florida. At Forest High School a 19 year old student shoots a 17 year old student hitting him in the ankle. No fatalities.

10. Lexington Park, Maryland. A student shoots two other students at Great Mills High School killing one before being engaged by an armed school resource officer and being killed.

11. Jackson, Mississippi. A student is shot in the leg in a Jackson State University dorm. Police were unsure if he shot himself or was shot by a gunman. No fatalities.

12. Norfolk, Virginia. A student at Norfolk State University heard a shot from another dorm realizing he’d been shot in the behind. It was unclear if the shooting was purposeful or accidental. No fatalities.

13. Parkland, Florida. A 19 year old gunman kills 17 student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in one of the most gruesome school shootings in American History.

14. Nashville, Tennessee. A 14 year old student shot a 17 year old student multiple times in the chest in the parking lot of Pearl-Cohn High School claiming self defense in a fight. The student shot survived the wounds.

15. Oxon Hill, Maryland. In the parking lot of Oxon Hill High School as student was shot in his car in what was assumed to be a robbery. The student was treated and released from the hospital the same day. No fatalities.

16. Benton, Kentucky. At Marshall County High School a gunman murdered 2 other students and shot 14 others.

17. Italy, Texas. At Italy High School a male student shot a female student who he had once dated. The victim survived the attack. No fatalities.

18. Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A student was murdered during a fight that broke out at a part on Wake Forest University.

19. Raytown, Missouri. A man was shot in the stomach of the parking lot of Raytown South Middle School during a track meet.

20. Birmingham, Alabama. A student was shot and killed and another wounded after an accidental shooting at Huffman High School.

21. Savanna, Georgia. A person was shot on the campus of Savanna State University and later died. Neither the gunman more the victim were students.

22. Los Angeles, California. At Sal Castro Middle School a 12 year old girl accidentally discharges a fire arm killing one student and injuring three others.

There is no way to make up for lives lost. It is tragic and should never happen. But it can be stopped. It can be stopped by not letting our children be sitting ducks in a so called “no gun zone”. It’s only a no gun zone until some nut decides to bring a gun there and shoot the place up.

These events should not be used to push forward the agenda of disarming the American Public. If anything, this goes to show that Americans need to be armed to defend themselves and others around them.

It is simple, criminals do not obey laws, to outlaw guns will only result in law abiding citizens being disarmed and criminals and police having all the guns. Neither are a good result. The Second Amendment is there to protect us from both government and criminals. Not for hunting. I highly suggest everyone read this study here. Like so many things now days, this has nothing to do with the fake left-right paradigm. This has to do with protecting our children and not letting us fall victim to manipulative reporting.

Ultimately, this is about being able to protect our children. This is about having the right and duty to protect our children from CPS, from crazy people (sometimes more CPS agents), from any government organization, and from anything that could possibly endanger them. This is about being able to feel safe when we send our children off to school.

We guard our money, our banks our government officials, our celebrities, our country with guns, but for some reason we do not guard our children, putting them in buildings that we positively know could be attacked by criminals who do not obey laws and regulations, whether it be gun control or no gun zone rules. Being able to protect ourselves is not only about protecting our person. It is our right and our duty to protect our ourselves and our children by any means necessary.

This is not an epidemic but we do need to arm ourselves. Both with knowledge and tools. We do need to guard our rights given at birth. They cannot take them from us, they can only violate them. They are ours from womb to grave.
