@markwhittam & @canadian-coconut have been promoting @familyprotection on the BeyondBitcoin Whaletank thanks to @steempowerpics.
Mark and Linda are dedicated to making this project grow, we truly believe that by combining the power of the blockchain and cryptos we can raise both awareness and the funds that are needed to help families who are under attack from Social Services/CPS.
Mark & Linda were understandably nervous going into the Whaletank but once we entered we realised that it was not the Shark Tank and @officialfuzzy is actually a very charming, respectful, calm and helpful fellow with family values.
Here is the edited recording of the hangout and @familyprotection had the honour of being first to speak.
I would like to say a big thank you to @steempowerpics & @nutela for giving us a gentle nudge in the right direction and big respect to @officialfuzzy for spearheading such a worthwhile project.
And I think that it is initiatives like BeyondBitcoins Whaletank that are going to show people the true power of the blockchain. Imagine a place where people from all over the world come together to help, support and guide one another without government intervention and censorship.

This was a great way to introduce the project. Mark- I'm so glad that steemit was able to provide the love and support you needed and hope that it continues to do so. Linda ( @canadian-coconut)- you are the support and love that people in these situations need and they are so lucky to have you advocating for them. People really do have a hard time believing that the government is not acting in the best interest of the children, that there is in fact a dark agenda. And this needs to be exposed, so thank you for what you guys are doing here and your willingness to speak out.

Yes, it can be a long slow process to bring people over to the idea that some government agencies are NOT trying to do what is best for children.
But hopefully as we discuss these topics more and more, here on Steemit, people will open themselves up to that possibility and become more cautious about who they trust,
and we can make a much brighter future than we have right now for our children and for loving families.

Whenever I hear of stories similar to the one I added on your RSVP, although rare to see them getting attention in the news, I will share them in your post comments so people can see how real the problem is and that even in the USA it can happen. I reSteemed this post as well to do my part. :-)

My brother almost got taken by cps when he was 2-3 mo old. Because the government office were concerned he didn't weigh enough. He has no trouble with being small now!!
