In humbleness, I offer song parody. 'If They Traffic You.' based on the song 'If You Remember Me' by Chris Thompson from the 1979 movie, 'The Champ.' Terri, a victim of the CPS pens heart-felt words of love. She may lose her son, Zack, yet she realizes how hurtful a separation would be for him. Terri is not alone. Many are victim at the filthy greedy hand of the CPS. Yet, love is a bond that evil cannot sever. We hear the heart and message in this song parody penned by Terri. Freedom and the dream must prevail.

It is evening as her five year old child sleeps. Tears flow from his mother, Terri, as scenes from the day play back like a recorder stuck on repeat. The CPS made their second visit of inspection to their home. There are grave threats of little Zack being placed in a foster home. Terri remembers the stone-like face of the social worker. She knows a friend who has been without her daughter for 8 years, thanks to the heartless greed of the CPS. Terri lets out several sobs. She starts to pen a verse.

Why must the government be a monster of greed? Why do they sell kids for profit? Children are not property to sell. Terri cannot understand why they continue to harass her and little Zack. Damn, it is not right that people go through this hell! She continues to write and offers up a prayer.

And So Many Others

Yet, there are so many out there who have lost their babies to the child trafficking of the CPS. Innocence is shattered and dreams are forsaken. Governmental intimidation brings fears, misery and hurt. Tears of grief and countless questions linger, as baggage piles up in the lives of tomorrow. It is the families that suffer.

Still, the love of parents and children is a bond that the evil of the CPS cannot sever. It champions and overcomes theft and time. It endures and grows again.

Including Myself

I was not a victim of the CPS, but easily would have been had I been born thirty years later. I was raised by a single mother. I met my dad and his family at age eighteen on independence day (July 4th) through my own research. I was able to reconnect the bond of love with my dad for nineteen more years until his death. A child parent bond is forever.

Go Through Unnecessary Separation

Evil must be overcome. Children do not need to suffer and the government must stop stealing innocence. Babies are not property and life is priceless. Children belong with mom and dad, not sold to strangers or used for sex.

There are pro-family groups who see the peril that parents endure. They are told the heart-felt stories of children being stolen to filthy governmental greed and the helpless tears of moms and dads. Parents are not trying to be a celebrated champion, but rather be allowed to live freely with their children. Yet, the sacrifices they offer in love for their child's freedom...

I am including a movie clip to prelude the song parody. You will see how dad wins a boxing match, yet dies in the end. The helpless son is in confusion and tears. Many parents give their selfless and sacrificial love in the boxing ring with the CPS, only to be severed, not by death but needless greed of monster government. In the separation, children cry in confusion, just as this child did in the movie clip. Parents and children suffer the death-like separation at the filthy hand of the CPS.

The lyrics from the Chris Thompson song, parallel nicely in the message of love and support for another. Unnecessary conditions separate them in time, yet love continues. Through all the tears and time, keep believing and holding on to the dream. Only then will it become a reality.

Separation is a death that can sever people, yet love often grows stronger in the time apart. This song speaks to me personally and hope you as well.
