Money is one of the most beautiful part of our life. The joy of having it alone bring satisfaction to the soul of he who is in possession of it,why the lack of it is a sickness to the heart. What is better than wanting a thing and have it as at when due? Nothing, I guess!

Your money can buy you fortune, friendship, connection and many other beautiful things of the earth. To be certain of how important money is even from the time past,you have to consider studying some portion of the Bible. The same Bible that says the love of money is the root of evil (1Timothy 6:10) went ahead to say that money answer all things (Ecc 10:19). The book of proverb 14:20 stated it clearly that the poor man is despised even by his own people, but the rich has many friends.

No matter what anybody can say about money,the joy of having it alone is such a beautiful thing to have.

"Money is not everything".

This is one of the widely quotable quotes in Nigeria, but each time anybody mentioned it in my hearing,I simply answer and say, " let me have it first,so that I see it myself " Smile.

But despite so many things beautiful about money,we should not pursue it while leaving the most precious part of our lives uncared for. Most precious! Yes! Most precious.

Remember 1Timothy 6:10 says the love of money is the root of all evil,that shows that their are things more important than money that we should love, cater for and attend to.

Now,what is precious than money?

A lot of rich men in town regret pursuing money before pursuing what is most precious, though they make the money,but they are still regretting why they need to sacrifice the most precious to them just to make money. For us not to go the same path,I make a list of those things we must consider ahead of money,I hope you find something to learn from it.

       Relationship

To keep relationship together, you will always need money,in fact,one of the reasons we make money is to enjoy it with our relations. So,why would you sacrifice those that would share with you,the joy of money for the sake of making that money.

You can make money all alone,but you can't spend it all alone

The issue of relationship can be view from two angles (a). Relationship with God, dont leave God our of your plan,you will always need him more than he needs you. (b) Relationship with men,don't despise your people, they will always remain your family.
"Whether family is good or bad,they will ever remain your family"

          Your health

Health is wealth. Without a sound health,their won't be great wealth. If the wealth of the whole world belongs to only you,and you don't have a very sound health, such a good luxuries is tantamount to having nothing. Never sacrifice your health for your wealth.
Know your limit and don't stretch far beyond it. While it is good to stretch a little, don't over do it. Take time to rest after each stress to recharge yourself.
I have seen people begging God to take away their wealth and restore their health. I pray, that won't be your portion. Amen.
But always obey the law of Sabbath which says you should rest after each labour.

                   Your spouse

you are incomplete without your spouse. So stop sacrificing family happiness for the love of money. You both need each other to succeed. Don't try to do it all alone. One will chase a thousand,while the two of you will chase ten thousands.

                        Children

what is better than having some sets of beautiful children round your table? Our children are our present and our future. They take over from where we drop the mantle. If we don't take time to inculcate value into them,what kind of future are we producing? Gaining the whole earth without having a competent hand to take over from you is nothing but a big waist of time,effort and resources. Children I mean can be your biological children,adopted children or children from your environment.

One of my secondary school teachers taught me a lesson that changed my perspective for life.
"He said Kayode, I know you are very brilliant and intelligent, and if you should continue like this,I see a better tomorrow ahead of you,but while helping yourself to get up the ladder,draw some of your un-seriouse friends along. If you dont,they won't stop you from becoming what you want to be,but they will disturb you from enjoying it"

As you buy good future for your children, help the underprivileged children to grow as well. If you don't, they won't stop your children from becoming what you want them to be,but they will not allow them to enjoy it...

Creating value for the future is more precious than money.
Helping the helpless is valuer than money.
Giving hope to the hopeless is important than money.
