Party /Gifts planning tips_Part1 - Wedding gift - money in an original way
If I really know something, it´s how to plan a party and/or how to plan, organize an original personalized gift for any event.
Among my friends, we do not do expensive gifts. We love meeting and celebrating together. And there are some events where you want to surprise and be original :-) I really enjoy presents giving and the creative way how to do so...
I will be really pleased if you contact me in case you need help to come up with some idea :-)
I will post my ideas and events I organised or planned under the tag #celebration so stay tuned
Part 1 - Wedding gift
The most common wedding present? Money.
I hate putting money into the envelope...
If you are a group of friends or family members you can find inspiration below:
What do you need:
-> inflatable balloons
-> money (paper and/or coins)
-> photographs
-> pen and paper
-> small objects that have a meaning for the couple
-> bed linen
-> ribbon
-> 2 decorative pins
-> small paper jewellery box
-> time
What you do:
- You get together and put money, notes and wishes to the happy couple and objects to the balloons - it is really up to you what you get inside, but be careful - no sharp objects. A little tip - roll anything you want to get inside, coins are hard to get inside, though, not impossible.
- You need to get the sheet cover (bed linen larger part) and the ribbon ready.
- You inflate the balloons and tie them
- You put the balloons into the sheet cover and create a nice decorative sachet tied with the ribbon
The wedding scenario:
The happy couple receives from you the small box with 2 decorative pins and the pillowcases. Trust me, they will be quite confused. Right after that you bring the sachet full of balloons, untie the ribbon and let them loose all over the place. They have to chase them, catch them into the pillowcase and pin them :-) The content stays safely in the pillowcase.
It was a great success and a lot of fun! My friends still have all the notes, photos and things from balloons in their photo album.
