Lock Down Realities in Families

Hello guys, how are you all doing. Hope you're holding up fine with the lock down in effect in most major cities around the world as a result of the corona virus outbreak.

The realities of the lock down on families is becoming evident day by day, as parents are compelled to deal with the presence of their children, which many of them have been making efforts to shy away from in times past. Some parents normally can't deal with the noise children make and how they can scatter the house while playing. These they have to deal with right now.

Lock down gives parents the opportunity to spend ample time with their children, sing, tell stories, do exercises, and other forms of sports and so on.

Another very important area of interest, is the area of faith, as regards child upbringing. As a believer in Christ, I am of the opinion that every man is the prophet or pastor of his own house. This means he is responsible for teaching and directing his family members towards the tenets of faith and moral decency. The duty of grooming morally decent children should never be left with women alone to carry. A man tweeted his experience recently.

The tweet is quite funny, but calls for some reflection. The writer describes an event when his family was listening to a preacher from home. After some time, they lost connection, and his children asked him to continue the message. It was like all hell was let loose on him, because he has definitely not made significant impact in the lives of the children. He was not equipped for such an assignment and probably left it all to his wife.

The corona virus pandemic has brought a lot of lessons that if worked upon, will help everyone live better lives, and more importantly help families harmonize much more.
