What a cracking day!

Here in Ireland we don't always get the best of weather. Yesterday was the exception to the rule! The sun was out in force, little cloud cover and a gentle breeze made it perfection. We just had to get out with the doggos! We went out got a walk among the hills of the Curragh. This in-itself is a bit of a misnomer as the Curragh is mainly flat. The area where we chose to walk is also used by the army for training maneuvers.

We were lucky that the army were not out on exercise and we pretty much had the whole area to ourselves. Sally was totally free to run amongst the sheep. Shadow on the other hand has a very high "prey drive" so we don't take a chance with her when there are sheep in the vicinity.

Only the occasional sheep to break the green and blue that filled our horizon. You can see some of the trenches in the shots that the army use for capture the flag games. We climbed up to a flag location and enjoyed the view for a little while. The breeze up here was a welcome break.

You can see all the way to the wicklow mountains on a day like this. We have walked many of the mountain trails too and even climbed the sugarloaf "mountain" with the kids. We really must do this again some time soon! It is a lot of fun and a great day out.

Oh, there she is! Sally isnt the easiest to track down for a picture!!

Then when we got home I made some of my CFC with new improved crispy "skin", I only had smoked paprika which was a shame as it changed the flavour profile of the CFC. I also made gravy but used corn flour in error and it was too gloopy, didnt stop me from eating it however LOL.

Hope you enjoyed our day out with the doggos and seeing one of our favourite walks. We have another big week ahead, myself and Mrs Moon are attending a recruitment event in our new city this weekend so we will be hoping to meet some potential new employers.
