11th birthday from my daughter

Many month, my daughter read in the internet about "build a bear". I don´t know what it is. But she often talk about this. "I want to make a Teddybear. Please, i´ll make my own Teddybear".

So, I search about a shop in our area. We planed a trip for her 11th birthday. 

In November ´17 we start our trip with the car to the train station. And than, we took the train to a country called "Stuttgart". Our daughter was very excited. When we arrived in Stuttgart, we ask for the way to the shop.

10 minutes later (we walked throug the town), we arrived the shop. We were suprised, how small the shop was.

But our doughter AND our son was happy about the little shop full of emty stuff animals an the other things.

 

First, they had to choose an empty stuffed animal. My daughter (she loves stuffed animals sooooooo much), took 15 minutes to choose one ;-) She choose a pink Teddybear. My son took an purple cat.

 

You think, they must fill the amty stuff animals with filling material now and than, they are ready? No way...now the animals became some cute thinks to make it alive :-) 

First, they must choose some flavour. They can took strawberry, bubblegum or cotton candy. My daughter chose strawberry and my son nothing.

Secondly, they must choose some sound. The soundbox start, when the paw is pressed. Both took a song "From the birthday bear, happy birthday, happy birthday to you. It´s a special day for me and for you and someone who loves you, too. Happy bithday, happy birthday, happy birthday".

Thirdly, they took a heart. When you pressed it, the bear vibrates in the rhytm of a heartbeat.

Fourthly, they choose a little stuff heart. 

Now the woman who worked there gave instructions:

* Rub your heart between your hands to keep it warm.

* Jump, jump, jump. The heart can beat now.

* Turns in a circle.

* Keep your hands on your forehead and think of a wish. The wish will come true.

My daughter was happy and do all the instructions. My son say: "Why should I do so things with a heart out of stuff. A heart outof stuff comes alive? No, it does not work!" 

Now both must go to the women, who worked there. She sit next a machine. Inside the machine, filling material swirled around. At the end from the machine, there was a metal pipe. The empty stuff animal comes over the metal pipe. As well as the flavour, the soundbox, the heartbeat and the stuff heart. The kids took the foot on a pedal an the filling material fill the empty stuffed animals. 

The woman sewed the stuffed animal.

But now, the stuff animals are ready!? Already that one of my son. But my daughter wish some clothes for her Teddybear. Ok, it´s her birthday and we allow it.

She took a pink jeans, a white "happy birthday" t-shirt, pink shoes, a hairband with a pink loop and a pink handbag. And NOW, the teddybear is ready!

Unfortunately, they no longer had a birth certificate. But my wife make some at home.

When we pay the stuff animals, every one become a "house made of cardboard".

After this exciting shop, we walk through the town and eat something. We shopped something in other shops and had lot of fun.

At afternoon, we took the train to our country. I swear, the whole way to home, the animals sing the song "happy birthday"...    :-) 

It was a very nice 11th birthday of my daughter. On birthdayparty with family and friends, she tell everyone about the making of her own pink Teddybear.
