Relationship vs PC games
Recently, I've heard of a lot of failed relationships because of the addiction to computer games. Many couples break down because the free time of the partner is filled with the virtual reality.
It's hard to find the right balance in a relationship, but one thing is for sure - the more time and attention we share for our partner, the better the relationship develops. I'm going to tell you how from a person who spends more than 8 hours on average per day in front of the monitor, I managed to get over it and find balance.
I will start from the beginning ...
My first clash with electronic games was at the age of 4 when I had a soviet portable game:
This simple game (wolf collects eggs) brought me a great joy.
When I was 6 years old (in the distant 1990), I received as a gift my first TV game - Atari.
I have since fallen in love with this wonderful world of electronic games, although the games were ugly pixels moving on the screen.
Unfortunately, I did not have a computer, but I went to my classmate who owned the Pravets computer at home ...
Bulgarian Computer - an IBM PC / XT analogue with 16 bit architecture. Released only one year after the release of IBM PC / XT.
I still remember the Prince of Persia's adventures.
Gradually, with the development of technology, I acquired the next TV games...
I've spent unforgettable hours with games like...
Golden Axe.
The next acquisition-Terminator, where Super Mario was the best hit...
I can`t miss the total hit Sega mega drive II...
Real 16 bit of fun...maybe the best gonsole of the 90`s...so many memories...
Mortal Combat...A unique work of electronic art in multiplayer mode.
Dune II - my first strategy game, that was not on PC...I will not go into detail about each game, because they all deserve a separate post.
I remember the time we played on video games machines in neighborhood clubs ... we were buying tokens and it was really a matter of life and death to beat the game...
I miss the portable games like Tetris and Tamagotchi, who were with me when I was not at home or at the game club...
In my father's office, sometimes I played on his computer the first FPS - Wolfenstein 3D...
At the end of the 90`s, the first clubs started to appear in Bulgaria, where you pay 1 lv. to play for 1 hour. Here I was totally captivated by the titles Star Craft, Quake 2, Half-life, Heroes III, Diablo, CS, NFS, FIFA and many more.
On the eve of the new 2000 year, I received as a gift, my first PC - Pentium 4 with Sony Trinitron flat screen monitor...I had the best PC among my freinds...
Man, I do not know how I managed to finish high school with excellent grades, given that I played the most games in all genres...
To understand correctly ... one morning I sat at 7am with a cup of hot tea in front of the monitor, started my new RPG Baldur`s Gate, then took a sip of tea ... and he was cold ... I looked at a clock It was 12 o'clock in the afternoon ... a few hours were gone in seconds without notice ... then I said to my self: dude, you have to stop ... control yourself ...
I started to practice sports, to study, I became a student ...and...
I started to hang out with friends...and started to work, I met my future wife at university ... and ...
I got married ... and ...
we started to travel around the world ...and...
my son was born... So many things that are real, not virtual.
I must admit, that I have never stopped playing PC games ... I just started choosing the titles carefully, playing less, but more valuable things. Now I have the last HP omen laptop...
Intel Core i7-6700HQ (2.60/3.50 GHz, 6M), NVIDIA GTX1070 8GB GDDR5, 32GB DDR4 2133MHz, 1TB SATA 7200rpm,1TB M.2 NVMe SSD, 17,3" display... This means I can play all the games I want ...Of course, due to the limited time I am currently playing:
I'm a big fan of the whole series...
My favorite strategy ... is subject to multiple replay and alternative scenarios ...
The best of Elder Scroolls...
Total classic!!!
Exploring the cosmos... The perfect choice for Sci-Fi lovers like me...

Thanks for the post, yeah... Games shouldn't be your priority.. your family should be that!!.. one of the reasons I dislike Online games is that most of them don't have 'Pause' feature.
Yes, I was like obsessed with theese games..every player must know when to stop...
