Hello Steemitworld

Today I will finally make the announcement of the winner to my cypher challenge. I extended the contest as long as possible to get as many entrants as possible. I was really hoping I would get more entries than the first one, but alas! These entries were phenomenal. The competition was arguably stiffer this time around. Because there were less entrants, I went with two Steemian judges, and decided I would be a sort of tie breaker. This was no easy task, and a big reason why it's taken so long to announce this. Without further ado......

The Winner is......

This was such a hard decision, and I was going back and forth between a couple of the participants. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed hearing every single entry and how different each entry was. The entry from @scuzzy was a dope remix of my track, and it took on an entirely new form I loved. The name I gave to this was super arbitrary ("Walk with Me"), and @scuzzy made a hilarious twist on the name, calling it "Wok with Me," and dedicated it to culinary people everywhere. I got a chuckle out of that bit. HERE is his original entry. He has also been doing a lot of work with the @smacommunity and #blockmountain, so if you don't know what those are and love or make music, get on it! He has also been doing a lot of amazing remixes of old hip hop hits, as well as new ones. You should go scope those HERE

Another active and leading member of the @smacommunity, @jamesgetsit is a phenomenal lyricist and emcee. His voice control, breathing, inflections and flows on his raps are top notch, and I was so honored to have another great artist of this caliber on the contest. You absolutely need to go check out his work! HERE is the entry he made for the contest. It turned out so good, and it's not called Breathless for nothing! He goes on a constant flow that would wind the very best in the game. His entry is something you surely don't want to miss! Speaking of being breathless, he just put out a track called Breathe you should go peep!

The elusive cyborg sent from the future graced us with another amazing entry, this time showcasing his singing and clarinet abilities! This was an unexpected surprise, and a pleasure to listen to. I know absolutely nothing about the cyborg, and surely would love to see him post more music because I love what he makes. I am glad that these cyphers have somehow beckoned the cyborg from the deepest reaches of reality to amaze us. Episode 1 reigning champ! No better way to put it, other than to say this man is a BEAST. He can sing and play the guitar very well, and I am increasingly impressed by his rapping abilities. The amount of energy and passion that came off his words were really a great compliment to the song, and I love when someone puts their all into their craft. HERE is his powerful performance. Definitely be on the lookout for some collabs down the line between us, as well! I really like his singing voice and guitar, and you should go check out an example of that HERE. Go show the premiere champion (and all the contestants) some love!!!!

My brother from another mother. Since he didn't make an entry this time, I decided to have him judge. I respect his opinion very highly, and thought he would be a great person to give me his insight. My student of three years. He is a very ambitious, intelligent, and talented young man and I am so happy to have said I've taught him anything. I talk a lot about crypto and Steemit at school, and he got interested enough to come check it out. His level of maturity and will to growth make him an awesome person to have contributing to our blockchain. He has a wonderful taste in music, and is probably the only student I've found who listens to a lot of the same underground stuff that I do. He has also been trying his own hand at crafting lo-fi hip hop beats, and is already making really good stuff!
