1John 3:20

"For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things."

If a person has come to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, those sins are forgiven, and there is no condemnation.

However, this is a difficult truth for many people to grasp. Before receiving forgiveness there was such great conviction. As David said, "My sin was ever before me."

The guilt of sin is a horrible pressure that can literally drive a person insane.

When you confess your sins to God with a sincere heart, believe that they are truly forgiven and let go of the guilt.
