Proverbs 18:24

"A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."

I always pray for good friends, not popularity but one good friend that would be my ride or die. The bible says that a good friend could be closer to you than your own blood.

We should always pray for the friends we have now and the ones we have yet to meet. If you knew the impact of friends in your lives, you will pray about this always. Friends can help or harm us in significant ways.

In his book, Mastering Personal Growth, Donald W. McCullough wrote:

"When we consider the blessings of God — the gifts that add beauty and joy to our lives, that enable us to keep going through stretches of boredom and even suffering — friendship is very near the top."
