This is the world's largest yacht, its daunting price
The largest and most expensive yacht in the world, the ownership of Russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko, has banned this Sunday at Turkey's Mediterranean Resort, Marmaris, in Turkey.
"Sailing Yacht A", a 143-meter-long yacht, is equipped with floating carbon-fiber "walls" that go to 100 meters - the world's largest in this type, according to Boat International.
The yacht has eight floors, an observation room underwater, three swimming pools, a gym, four-garage garages and a runway. The observation center is protected with a 30 cm thick glass. This is the largest private sailing star in the world.
The value of this great ship goes $ 450m and needs a crew of 54 people with 20 passengers on board.
The yacht was designed by French designer Philippe Starck, who is also Steve Jobs's "Venus" designer.
Andrey Melnichenko is an industrialist and philanthropist. With a personal wealth of $ 13.2 billion, he was ranked 89th in the Forbes billionaire list, but the ninth in Russia for 2017.
