Very interesting. I remember hearing about this happening, but never checked into it. Gilligan's Island had an episode where one of them (Gilligan probably) picked up signals with his teeth.
I remember studying electronics in grade school (do they do that today?) and the teacher had a radio connected to a piece of wood. If you held the wood between your teeth, you could hear the signal. Otherwise you couldn't hear anything. Pretty cool.
@anotherjoe I did quite a bit of research on the matter and found it absolutely fascinating! The sound is apparently generated in the teeth and then transferred via the jaw bone directly to the ear. In most cases only the individual can here it. Makes you wonder about people who here voices..... maybe they have fillings hahahaha!
