US "social" media is hyper sensitive when it comes to their own country's elections, meanwhile their media & politicians hold entire campaigns there against other countries
I'm sure you've come across them, the many posts that are nowadays labeled "Some or all of the content shared in this Tweet is disputed and might be misleading about an election or other civic process."
Oh how kind of them to uphold truth and dignity, except that;

So Twitter is not doing the same for other countries regarding their elections, who their own politicians and media are flooding with disinfo and accusations and sheer lies, go figure :)

There, they let every and any claim run rampant and ludicrous accusations meant to rile up citizens there, do not get social-media fact checked and thus not censored. The consequence:

This double standard can not be ignored, if certain misinfo is crucial enough for US controlled social media to label and censor in their own country, which has a proven record of spreading misinfo and meddling with other country's elections, you should now be more aware than ever that what you are being fed on Facebook, Twitter or any other US controlled platform during your country's crucial and sensitive times, are UN-RE-LIA-BLE to it's very core.
No matter if those who say it do or don't have that little verification sign next to it.
