True, then again most people aren't doing anything wrong so they don't tend to care if the government whips up how many family reunions you have and who had the best recipes.
Here is the problem for anyone who does not anything "wrong": With just a few "likes" they can COMPLETELY assess your personality and make judgements based on that. Example: They could determine that you might be a reckless driver or live an unhealthy lifestyle and based on that, your insurance goes up or might be declined. Thanks! Yes you did say government. It applies of course to the government as well. You might lose privileges like owning a gun, educating your children or driving a car as well, based on your personality and predicted behavior and not by actual misdeeds. (People go to jail for "hate speech" in Europe) FB already works on an interface to read your thoughts. No joke, look it up. The possibilities are endless. And usually it is the case that if something CAN be abused, it WILL BE.
