Facebook is the largest and most popular social networking site. It has more than 2 Billion monthly active users. Active users are those which have logged in to Facebook during the last 30 days. It is no doubt "the king of social network". I am an early adopter of Facebook. I was happy to find Facebook-like services. I was able to connect with my long lost friend through Facebook. Thank you so much, Facebook for that.

But Gradually Facebook changed its policy and the worst one is the change in Facebook algorithm. A lot of Business owners, Content creators are crazy about this decision. As a public limited company, Facebook has to generate revenue. They are finding every possible way to generate extra cash.

Currently, Facebook is selling likes to the page owners, boosting your content to reach your own page fan, You have to pay to the traditional Facebook advertising platform to reach more customers. If you have a Facebook-dependent business model, You know how much you have to pay for promotion.

Today, I read a news about The Facebook's Subscription based services. Facebook is thinking the possibility of offering an ad-free version of the social network. Facebook users have to pay a subscription fee to see ad-free content. Source

Then what will happen to the most famous Facebook Slogan "It's Free and Always will be"

By analyzing Facebook's all motives, It is clear that Facebook is not at all free and not the best social networking site. Steemit has a great potential to fill up the space created by Facebook. Steemit does not steal data and sell it to the third party and earn money. Steemit is the pure social network I am looking for.
