Pre-apocalyptic Facebook and Existential Thoughts

I imagine this place to be teeming with more casual users now that facebook is facing some sort of cancer that it has caused upon itself. I myself am having a very difficult time on deciding on whether I as an existing active variable in this universe really matter in this equation of commercialization of my "privacy" of sort for some financial gain for a few powerful men and women behind all of this. To much sense, I care and have a grasp of the situation in a level that I am capable of understanding, but I just don't care, for in truth all of these data if wanted by superpowers are already out there for them to make use of, whether we have a say on it or not.

With the above statement, I am surely still on facebook, because still, it is the most useful among the bunch when it comes to connecting with those I know personally. Don't get me wrong, I do care for my privacy and would probably do something responsible if I can, but for now, all I can do, same as you is to be careful with the things and thoughts that I spill online for the whole universe to archive.
