My Final Post to Facebook

MY FINAL POST

My first post it would seem was on September 18, 2010. I cannot believe how almost 8 years has flown by.

I would like to thank everyone who became friends with me over that period and for sharing all those lovely pictures of your dogs and cats.

I would like to thank everyone who cared enough to send me Jesus messages in the hope that I might be saved, a little late in the game but thanks for trying.

I would like to thank my family for sharing your memories.

Unfortunately this venue serves as a diversion from reality that has swept up millions upon millions of lives giving them the ability to switch off reality as easily as changing the channel on television. The ability to post a picture of a cat or dog or Jesus believing that reality will somehow be stayed.

The reality of corruption in government where the guilty walk away free only to be replaced by another more corrupt and blaming the last one for all your problems.

The reality of war and crimes against humanity that destroy countries, peoples and cultures based upon lies in order to plunder natural resources.

The reality of big pharma and medicare and prolonging life as a business and not a cure where only the rich can afford to get sick and the cost of dying over time creates homeless debt burdened families.

The reality of big oil and gas extraction and the polution of streams and rivers, oceans, aquifers and air and the corruption in government preventing it in the name of profits.

The reality of Wall Street and too big to fail banks ever bleeding the bloodless poor who always end up a dollar short through corrupt tax plans and even more corrupt bailouts and bailins. The latest being the Trump adminstration set to borrow 1 trillion dollars to feed the tax plan for the rich.

The reality of lies about a drug war that isn't a war at all but a means of ensuring the supply of drugs where millions of dollars a year are paid to corrupt officials all the way up the chain to top government officials. The American cocaine market is estimated at 38 billion dollars and the European cocaine market estimated a close second at 34 billion dollars. This is cocaine only.

The reality of our rights being stripped away through toxic legislation designed to benefit the rich who pay huge sums of money to corrupt elected senators, governors, congressman, members of parliament who are not concerned about what you want but keeping their place at the trough.

So reality does have a way of jumping up and biting you on the face because one cannot predict reality nor can we escape it. It is far better to meet reality face on and that gives us a much better chance of survival.

Tuning out reality is like seeing a pride of hungry lions waiting in the bushes and turning your head so you don't see them as you merrily walk down the road of life. You are going to get bit and that folks is reality. It is high time you stop and plan another route.

See you all in another venue or perhaps not because that too is reality.

I return from holidays at the beach March 12 and will delete my Facebook account on that day. Love you all, it has been a real pleasure.
