I think the reason is, is because Facebook didn't really let you message strangers. And I think more people got Facebook to meet new people, but they made it impossible by suspending the ability to send messages if you tried, that kind of thing. So naturally the crowd that would be interested, youth, go to other services that would let them dig deeper into the available pool of people.
Agreed. Facebook is an echo chamber because posts aren't open to the public like Twitter or Steemit.
Yeah, they thought they were going to do be better than Myspace in this aspect, but I think it is what hurt them.
