A SOCIAL MEDIA LORD TRYING TO TAKE OVER VIDEO NETWORK GIANT YOUTUBE. OR THEY HAVE JUST CREATED A REPLICA OF VK.COM?

We know that Facebook is the Social Media giant. Now, Facebook has made an essential move against the websites like YouTube and other TV network by adding the new video feature. It will be same as basic YouTube features.
Soon Facebook users will be able to watch wide range of shows on a new Video (tab or timeline).The video watch tab will be personalized which will make easier for the user to discover shows according to his/her interest. There will be a suggestion option as well which will be based on what the users’ friends are watching. There will be a specified group for users to connect with their friends and they will be able to comment on the shows.
The Founder of Facebook MARK ZUCKERBERG posted on Facebook ; “Watching a show doesn't have to be passive”.

Uploading and watching a video feature is already available on Facebook, But It was mainly dominated by short clips and amateur segments Like; News ,Vines and some other stuff.
Now The Social media giant is heading towards another goal. Last year they have integrated “Video tab”. They have already indicated that soon there will be a FACEBOOK TV, which will be producing some original content.

Will it help the content makers?

For a long time YouTube has been the main source of revenue for the video makers.But after this new “watch tab” feature of Facebook which some people are calling “FACEBOOK TV” can be a great revenue potential for the content creators. It can be a game changer for Facebook as well, because people are expecting to see video advertises before and in between every video.
