The social giant Facebook is reputedly working on a new feature called “Your time on Facebook,” will show you that exactly per day how much time you spend on this social platform.
Developer Wong posted a screenshot of this feature where it shows that in the course of the most recent week, exactly how many minutes you’ve spent on Facebook. And more interestingly, there’s also a “manage your time” section will send you a notification when you will reach a pre-determined time limit in the app. Furthermore, it seems that tech companies are now very much concern about the time consumption of their users. Therefore, earlier this year, Google and Apple also launched features respectively for Android and iOS, which also have the similar functions like through these apps users can monitor that how much time they are spending in apps which display on their phones.
On request, Facebook didn’t immediately respond for any comment for their upcoming feature. Anyway, it’s not clear yet that when the social giant will officially launch this feature, but rather their essence in the code for Android application recommends that before launching this feature, Facebook is currently trying them out among its own particular employees to make sure that the feature is working properly.
