Jolyon Palmer for Williams in 2018?

With rumours circulating that Carlos Sainz could well be moving into Joylon Palmer's F1 seat before the season is out have been squashed last weekend in Singapore.

Having had a difficult two years in F1 and results very far between due to realibility Joylon is hoping to attract the attention of another team for 2018. Whether this is Williams is not clear – Felipe Massa's contract potentially up at the end of year with Williams undecided on whether to keep the Brazilian for one more year.

In my opinion I feel that Paul Di Resta would be a better fit for Williams – he is currently there reserve driver and has proved in Hungary when he took over from an ill Felipe Massa that he can deliver the goods and perform.

Joylon may well be one of those drivers that has lost out due to the domino-effect caused by other team and driver movements. Something that has plagued some drivers there whole careers. But as a fellow Brit I sure hope to see Joylon somewhere on next year's grid.
