Intro T&T - finding matelot

Matelot is a settlement located on the north coast of Trinidad, the village has traditionally been seen as one of the most remote places on the island. The Matelot area was inhabited by Amerindian groups until 1760 when the population was resettled at the Spanish mission at Toco by 1783 two Venezuelan families settled. though remote it actually wasnt very hard to find because there is only one very narrow road leading in and out of the area. once found it is an amazing experience.
