We did have the opportunity to visit the roof tops for some early morning photos but there were simply too many people to take any decent photos.

Mark that as advice for those expecting picture perfect frames as you'll likely be confronted with an army of other people looking for that perfect insta-snap. Sometimes the people can be civil and form a line to queue for a snap alone, but other times, it is a bit of a scuff and you'll need to be persistent to get a nice angle.
