I'm interested in learning more about life outside the U.S. as I no longer want to partake of the "privileges" afforded me here at the expense of others. Any responses by those who have successfully escaped would be greatly appreciated.

Hey @andyleeparker - some expats you might follow are @hilarski and @williambanks and I think @heiditravels and @cryptomancer are also expats. There are a ton more but I can't remember who they are off the top of my head.
