Hi dcnovus, I'm a little confused by your post. If you were from the US wouldn't you likely still have a bank account there? I lived in Brazil for 9 years and retained a bank account using my parents address. I had a Visa issued debit card that I could use in the country or online. Sorry if this is a stupid question.
