The cat from Van (Eastern Turkey)
This is one of the most interesting cats I have come across on my travels. They are known as the Van cat from the lake Van region of Eastern Turkey. They have been know to swim in the lake and if that wasn't eccentric enough, they have odd coloured eyes. This one I met far from Van near the coastal town of Fethiye last summer.
A cat has more bones than a human; humans have 206, and the cat - 230.
