An Egyptian court has sentenced to death the Muslim Brotherhood's leader, 75 others. They were punished for protesting against current military rule. Authorities have accused them of killing 'illegal protests' and 43 police. Al-Jazeera online has reported.

The news has said that in 2012, the elected president of Egypt's democratic system, Mohamed Morsi, is in power. But after one year, the Chief of Army Staff, Sisi, was not able to remove him. At that time, Saudi Arabia, Israel and the United Arab Emirates, including Sunni Muslim states of the Middle East, supported him.

During this time, massive protests took place in Egypt against the military. The court sentenced the 75 people to death on Saturday for their involvement with such a protest in Ruba Square in Cairo. The need for the approval of the Grand Mufti before the execution of a larger verdict in Egypt is needed. Usually Grand Mufti does not change the verdict. However, in 2014, a Brotherhood leader abolished the death penalty and sentenced him to life imprisonment. Similar allegations against the leader were raised. The final verdict will be known on 8th September.

After this verdict, international human rights organizations have reacted severely. Their claim, the current Egyptian government is breaking the constitution. British-based human rights organization Amnesty International said the government killed at least 800 protesters. In response to this, the government of Egypt made a different allegation, the protesters were armed. During the protests, they killed 43 police officers.

An Amnesty International official in Egypt said that the judgment can not be accepted in any way. Protesters did not hurt a policeman The court gave the verdict intentionally for the Grand Mufti.

Political analyst Magade Mandour said, "I am sure the judicial system has given this verdict due to political pressure completely. There is no clear evidence of the charges brought against the accused. It is expected that the Grand Mufti will change the verdict.mishore.jpg An Egyptian court has sentenced to death the Muslim Brotherhood's leader, 75 others.
