Sabah Fest - Musical Theatre - Accept Steem as Payment

This year's Sabah Fest features a musical theatre "Solungkoi". ‘Solungkoi’ is a story about the construction of the Tamparuli bridge which became the landmark of Tamparuli region over several decades ago.

Tamparuli is a small town and a sub-district of Tuaran on the west coast of Sabah, Malaysia. Based on a local folktale, the Tamparuli bridge was built by a British Engineer during the post-war colonial period. Many stories were told by the elders to generations who live in the villages of Tamparuli Town about the famous Tamparuli bridge. In the olden days, the Tamparuli bridge was built to provide an easy and better access for the villagers. The bridge continuously collapsed due to being washed away by the river during rainy seasons. After several attempts to rebuild the bridge failed, the villagers consulted a spirit medium who helped them communicate with the spiritual world. The spirits said that the bridge was constructed on a sacred site, and "Ombuakar", the spirit said to live inside the Tamparuli river demanded a human sacrifice as a compensation.
The Tamparuli bridge legend tells a story about a beautiful young woman who fell in love and later on became a human sacrifice to appease the river spirits.

Accepting Steem to go to Musical Theatre??? Serious ?? YES, I am Dead Serious! 2 months ago, I announce that I will be accepting Steem as payment for Tours in Sabah. Musical Theatre why not, it is related anyway right? its serve the purpose of this platform right? besides the monetary sense in receiving Cash RM.

This Sabah Fest Musical Theatre is held once in every year during the month of May. It is Sabahans favorite month of the year actually, this is when Sabahans / Malaysian celebrate the Harvest Festival. A harvest bounty of Good rice from our paddy field. Back in 20 years ago, the Government only gave 2 days of celebration which on the 30th and 31st May. However, the Sabahans knows how to party, even though Government gives 2 days Holidays, but the people celebrates 31 days. 😂

Due to Sabahans is norm to it, the Government decided to join in and create events, shows, activities in every district on weekends, and the grand finale celebrations is held in Kota Kinabalu City on 30th and 31st May.

So for those Steemians happen to be in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia BORNEO on the 4th -6th May, this is your chance to see the Colors and Sound of Sabah. Come, don't hesitate to DM me in discord @veenang, there will be Food Trucks, Local Souvenir Stalls, Local Food and Drinks, Rice Wine, Talak, Montoku and Hinava for Pusas!!! DID I say how much? ONLY RM50.00 per ticket per day show (as of now its 3.5 SBD only)
