Great post! I used to be in favor of organ donation - until I learned that the donor must be alive for the organ to be useful! Therefore, you are killing a patient to (supposedly) save others (if you get the organ there in time...) Apparently, it's been shown that if you're a registered donor, you will not have the same level of life-saving treatment in the emergency room then if you weren't... Crazy world.
