Do you know which Fork to use?

I have attended a few etiquette dinners in my lifetime, and it always surprises me how most people have no clue what to do when they see so much cutlery in front of them on the table.

Cast your minds back to the scene in the movie "Pretty Woman" where Julia Roberts is totally clueless when she accompanies Richard Gere to the super fancy restaurant. He then teaches her what is what and it was all in all a very awkward situation.

My husband and I are leaders in our youth group at church and we had the privilege of attending one a few weeks ago. One of the 17 year old girls I teach decided to put it together as one of her projects she needed to complete.
What a fun time was had by all. We loved every second of having an opportunity to dress up, and to spend an evening out with a bunch of wonderful teenagers. She worked so hard and I was extremely proud of her. It was also the first time I was treated to a 7 course meal.

Next time you feel the urge to teach the rising generation a thing or two, teach them some good old fashion etiquette.
