Discover SingularDTV.

When I first discovered SingularDTV I really had a hard time understanding what it really was and what it’s planning to do. There isn’t that much clear information around and the concept is kind of hard to grasp.

I made this post because I’m probably not the only one not seeing the potential or clearly grasping the project. I want to make this as simple and clear as possible for future investors.

What is the SingularDTV team trying to achieve?

In short, SingularDTV wants to give the control back to the creators of the entertainment business. It wants to disrupt the whole industry and wants to make it a transparent and a fairer business. It wants to award content creators and wants to help the struggling or upcoming artists.

The SNGLS token itself is an ERC20 token on the Ethereum network and it will represent several things. It can be an expression of Intellectual property from an upcoming album of an artist or an upcoming television series.

It’s also a utility token, it’s used to operate many of the modules or applications that will live inside the SingularDTV ecosystem. When the Ethereum’s protocol is upgraded to allow for ERC20 tokens to be used as gas then the SNGLS token will also be usable as the gas that triggers smart contracts in the application.

Launch of Tokit

Tokit is one of the first modules in the ecosystem. It will allow artists to create tokens that will represent their Intellectual property. They will be able to control the rights, the revenue, royalties and rewards of their IP.

This is a completely revolutionary idea and does not exist in the current entertainment industry.

Launch of LaunchPad

LaunchPad is the second module and it will allow the artists to create a project page and help get funding for their project. Artists will be able to explore the cryptocurrency markets and start taking advantage of the whole block chain ideology.

Launch of SingularX

SingularX will be a decentralized exchange that will be used to buy and sell the Intellectual property of artists.

Other modules

There are other modules in the development that will help the ecosystem grow. For example, there are upcoming modules for talent management, a legal repository, equipment rental etc

Launch of the SingularDTV Entertainment division

The team recently announced that they are building a whole new entertainment division. They will produce original content (Movies, series etc) that will sit next to the crowdfunded content that is created via the platform.

Market information

At the current time of writing the SNGLS token has a market cap of around 94M dollar, with a rank of 58. For a token that could potentially tap into a billion-dollar industry this token looks very undervalued and promising.

OmiseGO airdrop

The team also recently announced that they will be airdropping the airdropped OmiseGO. OMG has stated that they will air drop to Ethereum holder from a certain blockheight. The SingularDTV team has a lot of Ethereum left from the ICO and they will be redistributing the airdropped OMG to their token holders. So every SNGLS token holder will receive OMG !!

Release

They announced that 3 modules (Tokit, LaunchPad, SingularX) will be going into a last testing phase this September. If everything is going smoothly these modules will be launched before the end of the year.

Artists should be able to create their own tokens to represent their IP before the end of the year! Imagine if one of the bigger artists will back this project. The publicity of the platform to the outside world will be huge.

SingularDTV will be one of the first decentralized applications that will go live with a working, non-beta, product! This project has been lurking in the shadows for a long time now. It will be great to see everything unfold.

I think investors will have great returns by the end of the year and beginning of next year.
